About our Store...
We are a family business, owned and operated by a husband and wife team, David and Jennifer. Established in 1960, our original location was at Granville & 12th Avenue in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In 1978, our store moved into a brand new mall in a newly developed, growing section of Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver.....just about a half hour drive from our original location. In October 2007, we moved back to Vancouver and into our brand new store, close to our original roots. You are most welcome to visit our West 10th Avenue location and ask us for our "FREE 3D tour" and we will show you how we make fantastic jewelry using the latest, state-of-the-art 3D technology. The tour is completely free and has been enjoyed by many before you.
Our jewelry store offers a retail showroom, custom consultation facilities, as well as a fully equipped workshop. All our custom jewelry is made on site under our constant supervision at every stage. In order for you, our client, to be assured that the exact results you are looking for will be achieved, we feel it is an absolute necessity to have our own fully functioning workshop facilities on site. Our amazing results and attention to detail could not be achieved if we "sent out" or sub-contracted out our manufacturing as many jewelers choose to do. Your jewelery created by Jewellery Artists 3D reflects our complete dedication to providing you with both the most technologically savvy and creative design process available, as well as the most precise and detailed manufacturing process available......resulting in superior jewelry for you every time.
Meet One of Our Owners....David PennerOur gemstone and diamond expert is David Penner, who grew up in the diamond and jewelry business from a very early age. In fact, here is a photo of him working at the jeweler's bench when he was 8 years old!
David sources the store's gemstones and diamonds from many locations around the world. He routinely hunts for specific requests for clients in Emeralds, Tanzanites, Sapphires and of course diamonds. David is excellent in finding the best value for your specific design and budgetary requirements. He gives fantastic educational demonstrations to our clients embarking on purchasing a feature diamond for their custom jewelry....be it a stunning engagement ring, special anniversary milestone, or just because it is the 4th Thursday in April and you feel like surprising your special someone. Other jewelers, if you are lucky, can recite what the 4 C's stand for, but only David can share our proprietary secret knowledge with you, based on two generations and 47 years of experience, and show you how to combine the four C's to get the BEST LOOKING DIAMOND in your price range for the BEST POSSIBLE VALUE. What's Your Advantage When You Work With David?David has the advantage that he is not only one of the nicest guys you will meet in a jewelry store, but he is excellent in educating you, sharing our proprietary secret knowledge for gemstone selection in a way you can easily understand, and relentless in his efforts to chase down that elusive diamond or coloured gemstone that is absolutely perfect for you. You don't have to know anything about diamonds or gemstones when you start out, but by the time you have decided on your perfect jewel, you will know more than most clerks selling diamonds and gemstones in retail jewelry stores. Oh...and, from our experience with clients, you'll pay less too. Meet Another of Our Owners....Jennifer GargonOur design and creative expert is Jennifer Gargon. She possesses a diverse background in the visual fine arts, as well as the rhythmical arts of music and dance. She has studied with various local artists for painting and drawing, as well as studying 3D sculpture, painting, drawing, art history and the creative process itself at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver. Jennifer entered the jewelry business in 1999 when she started designing jewelry items for a Vancouver area retail store, as well as for private clients. Her jewelry was a hit! Her attention to detail was a hit! Client feedback indicated that her attention to detail, both in carefully incorporating all of her clients' desires, as well as in the superior quality of the final jewelry items, were not easily found elsewhere. Other feedback indicated that the clients very much appreciated her "conceptual design"...her ability to take a either pile of old, often odd and mismatched gemstones, or a beautiful brand new gemstone assortment, and turn it into a beautiful custom jewelry piece which evolved around a conceptual vision that was central to the client's life and beliefs. What’sYour Advantage When You Work With Jennifer?Jennifer has the advantage that she is trained in the visual fine arts, which brings a completely different perspective and level of complexity to her jewelry creations. Most "jewelry designers" develop their design skills in the jewelry business. As such, the designs they create often reflect the mundane "tried-and-true" approaches in your final product. Jennifer's fresh outlook on creativity and design breathes life into your project and creates dynamic vibrant jewelry, personally tailored to each client's specific desires and to their practical needs. What Else is Jennifer Up To?
Jennifer also offers a very exclusive line of limited edition and hand painted wedding invitations. Her line of fine art wedding invitations, along with her fine art pieces (if you can catch them before they're sold), can be viewed at jennifergargon.com.
